Besides my dedication/obsession for photography, I am also very passionate about music. Since I met the piano when I was three, I made some blatant, and subtle decisions that put music front and center. Some include: enrolling in every student music class my schedule could handle (my wonderful, unselfish parents would sometimes take me two hours away for a lesson – then drive me back !), majoring in music at The Hartt School, joining The Jumblies, recording tunes, playing shows, concerts, weddings, and hearing a song or two of mine on the radio. Somewhere along the way I became a lifer. When I moved to California this year, I didn’t know anyone out here (except handsome Doug of course). Lucky for me, turns out The Bay Club in Morro Bay, is a fan of dream rock.
The Bay Club is a classy 60s era lounge that’s part of The Inn at Morro Bay, and it has a STELLAR dinner menu, I’m serious, it’s pretty much a religious experience. 60 State Park Road, Morro Bay, California, 93442. I’ll be playing from 7-10pm on Saturday, January 23rd. 25+ crowd. Pretty synth pop, and etheral fuzz all night.
Speaking of cosmic fuzz, living on the central coast in Cambria means zero light pollution. Natch. Yesterday Doug and I watched the shooting stars fly by our bedroom window!
Tonight through November 20: Leonid Meteor Shower: 1am: pacific standard time: free.
